Ygeia (from the Greek word for health) is made by the Metropoulos family of North Reading. Each year the family travels back to Greece to harvest olives from their family land in Logkanikos, a village in the Taygetos mountains of the Peloponnese, and they bottle the oil here in North Reading.
It is 100% Athinolia olives, early harvested and cold pressed within hours, naturally unfiltered and never blended. Expect delicate floral aromas, green fruit notes and a fresh, peppery finish.
Good to know: Extra virgin. 2025 harvest: 0.5% acidity, 354 mg/kg polyphenols (lab verified). 500 mL (about 17 oz) bottle.
