We sifted out the garbage for you.
New to refilleries?
It’s simpler than you think.
Start the loop
Drop off any clean glass jar you have at home and we'll swap it for a sanitized Sifted jar on the spot. Yours gets sanitized and cycled back for the next customer. A loop that actually works.
No jar? No problem. We have a free jar library or options to purchase if you want something a little more your style.
Fill up
Browse the pantry and refillery stations and fill your containers with exactly what you need. Prefer to grab and go? We keep pre-filled jars on the shelves for most items, just like a regular store.
Want to keep it lightweight? Paper and canvas bags are available for anything that works well loose - think grains, coffee, or spices.
Weigh and pay
Every jar on our shelves is pre-weighed and labeled, so there's nothing you need to do. At checkout, the weight of the jar is automatically subtracted and you only pay for what's inside.
Prices are by the pound or ounce depending on the product.
Come back
Keep your Sifted jar and bring it back to refill, or return it and we'll wash, label, and put it back on the shelf for the next person. Either way, the loop keeps going.
Make Something With Us
Events at Sifted
Visiting experts, monthly fresh-milled bread bakes, fill-your-jars cleaning sessions, and tween-friendly birthday parties. Sifted is built around community as much as it is around pantry refills — these are the gatherings that make the store feel like a third place.
Visiting Experts
Local makers, herbalists, florists, and craftspeople teaching the skills behind a more intentional life. Small-group, hands-on, you take home what you make.
- Flower arranging
- Pasta making
- Cookie decorating
- Visible mending
- Basket weaving
- Herbalist-led bug & after-sun spray
Fresh-Milled Flour Workshops
Once a month, we mill our own flour and bake bread together — and learn why freshly milled is so much more nutritious than what's on grocery shelves. You'll mill the wheat, knead the dough, hand-crank fresh butter, and walk out with a ready-to-bake loaf and the skills to do it again at home.
- Monthly · ~2.5 hours
- 8–10 attendees
- Take-home loaf + fresh butter
Fill Your Jars
Bring your own jars (or grab some at the store) and walk out with the cleaning essentials your home actually uses — mixed on-site, scented to your taste. We deal with the mess; you take home a finished pantry.
- Laundry detergent
- Hand soap & dish soap
- All-purpose cleaner
- Other cleaning essentials
Tween Birthday Parties
Hands-on parties for ages 9–13. Choose from three themes — we provide everything, and the guest of honor leaves with a pile of hand-made keepsakes.
- Candle making
- Hammered bangle bracelets
- Spa day (lip balm, body scrub, bath salts)
